NAPGC OPEN – 29 May 2026
The NAPGC Open was held the Wexham Park Golf Course on Friday 29 May 2026. Wexham was chosen following its redesign.
It was a leisurely start with the first tee time of 8:30am, preceded by rolls and drinks. There were a few withdrawals in the days prior to the competition, but reserves stepped in (thank you!) and we ended up with a full field of 60 players. Below the overall prizes players were split into 3 men’s divisions, balanced by numbers, and a women’s division.

The course had been impacted by the dry weather but was none the less very playable. The weather was kind and there were some good scores returned from across the time slots. It culminated with four players shooting 39 points with home club member Kuldip Kainth coming out top on countback and lifting the Open trophy. Sian Whitbread from Haste Hill, also on 39, took the women’s prize while the scratch went to Jake Mildenhall also from Haste Hill, who shot +4 despite a double bogey down the last.

Div 3 Men Winner: Prem Sharma (Wexham Park) 36pts
Div 3 Men runner up: James McIntyre (Huntswood) 36pts
Women’s Div Winner: Sian Whitbread (Haste Hill) 39pts
Women’s runner up: Mandy Griffin (Hoebridge) 37pts
Consolation prize: Peter Hobden (Wycombe Heights) 36pts
As well as prizes being awarded, six places at the UKPCC final were on offer. These were awarded to the overall winners and divisional winners. In addition, all players scoring 33 points or more were offered places at area qualifying events (if they had not already qualified).
