Men’s Bourne Vanneck Qualification – 6 & 7 June 2026
The area BV qualification events were held on 6 and 7 June with 53 teams competing in the area events. As ever competition for places at the final was close. The weather made playing conditions tricky, but feedback I have indicates the courses were in good order.
Thanks to all who entered teams and your players who turned out to represent your clubs.
The top gross and net teams automatically qualified at all venues. There were also some addition places available and I can now confirm the full list of qualifiers for the final (15 teams) which will take place at Sherfield Oaks (Wellington course) on Sunday 12 July is as follows:

It was pleasing to see, from an organisational perspective, that 12 different clubs will be represented at the final.

The conditions weren’t easy with for weather impacting across all areas.
Players struggled at Little Hay with the greens suffering from the dry Spring, while at Gaudet Luce play was incredibly hard with the wind blowing and fast running ground, though the course itself was very well presented.
The qualifiers for the final which will take place at Sherfield Oaks on Sunday 13 July.
