The Finals of the Mary and Gordon Forster Bowls were played at Stockley Park Golf Club on Sunday 10 May 2026.
The Weather was overcast and rather chilly. Fifteen, Ladies teed off in groups of three. The fairways were dry which made scoring difficult although most of the ladies scored in the 30’s.
The Winner on the day with a score of 101 points was Huntswood B, with team members Julie Dempsey, Kaisha Reardon and Jill Andrews who also had the best individual score of 38 Pts
The Runners Up prizes went to Huntswood A, with 98 points, the team consisting of Jennie Jupp, Rowan Revell and Shela Murphy. May I say well done to all the Ladies who reached the final.
In The Gordon Forster 24 Men teed off in groups of four. Scoring was difficult with very few men scoring in the 30’s.
The Winners of the Gordon Forster Trophy were Rose Hill with 112 points, the players in this team were Mohammed Lone, Geoff Wheeler, Dave O’Driscoll and William Corbally.
The Runners up were Haste Hill GC with a score of 109 Points, the team comprising George Clerkin, Clive Stasin, Alfie Stasin and Colm Ivors who also had the best individual score of 35 points. Again, I would like to say well done to all the teams who qualified for the Final.
