Hawtree Qualification 21 June and 4 July 2026
With numbers dropping off in the Hawtree mixed greensomes the event was switched from full knock out to qualification along the lines of the Mitchell Thomson. Teams comprised of 8 players playing as 4 pairs in greensomes stableford with the scores aggregated together with the prize for the winners a place at the national final on Saturday 12 September at Winter Hill.
The venue winners automatically qualifying for the final were Portsmouth from the Stockley park event, and Abbey Hill from the Batchwood Hall event. The following teams have also been invited to the final, Haste Hill, Huntswood A and Huntswood B.
The format received positive feedback and is intended to be used again in 2027.
