NAPGC Women’s Championships Cherwell Edge 26 July 2025
On Saturday 26 July on a bright sometimes sunny day 45 Ladies teed off on the Middleton Course at Cherwell Edge in the Women’s Championship. It has proved a good venue for NAPGC events, and we must thank the staff and the Captain of Cherwell GC for again making us very welcome.
Everyone enjoyed the course the Gross order was 3rd place Jackie Boone with a score of 79, in 2nd place Holly Murphy from Rose Hill with 77, and the winner with an impressive score of 76 was Katy Lansley from Easthampstead Ladies.
The Silver handicap order was 3rd place Jill Cain from EHLGC Net 73, in 2nd place Mandy Roberts from Southsea net 70, and the winner on count back Julie Dempsey from Huntswood with a net 70.
In the Bronze division 2nd place went to Gwen Gamble from Abbey Hill, with the winner from Easthampstead ladies, Edmee Murray with a net 68.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the club qualifying, well done to the finalists and many congratulations to the prize and trophy winners.
